Uncanny Parallel

THE "PARALLEL"

Between Jesus and Israel is uncanny! In scripture found in Matthew 2:15 when the scripture records the (fulfillment) of the prophecy of Hosea 11:1.

Concerning ancient Israel

Hos 11:1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and (called my son out of Egypt.)

Concerning Jesus

In reference to Jesus in Mat 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, (Out of Egypt have I called my son.)

Concerning ancient Israel

In Exodus 4:22 God tells Moses to say to Pharaoh Exo 4:22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, (Israel is my son, even my firstborn:) Exo 4:23(a) And I say unto thee, Let (my son) go, that he may serve me.

Concerning Jesus

1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only (begotten Son) into the world, that we might live through him.

The difference is that one Israel was declared the (son of god) and Jesus was actually the "begotten" of God, but both were seen by God as the (firstborn.)

Concerning Jesus & ancient Israel

BOTH (Jesus and Israel of Old) were according to God Himself called the (son's of God) and many can't see this truth. As ancient Israel was (called out) of Egypt to serve God, so too was Jesus (called out of Egypt) to grow up and (serve His FATHER). God Himself draws the parallel between (ancient Israel) and Jesus. With one exception! Israel was in (bondage) under the nation of Egypt, but Jesus was in (exile) in the land of Egypt because Herod sought after His life. Israel was in (mortal danger) in Egypt, but Jesus was in (no danger) at all while there.

Concerning the (two) men named Joseph

Then we have Joseph the (stepfather) of Jesus who was directed to take Jesus to Egypt, by the (angel of the Lord) which parallels with (Joseph the 11th son of Jacob by his wife Rachel) that (transported) his father Jacob i.e. Israel and an entourage of 70 Israelites (into Egypt.)

Concerning Jesus and Moses

Moses who was a (type) of Jesus Christ the (anti-type) BOTH interceding for man.

BOTH doing the (WILL of God), one Moses a representative of the coming Savior of the World. Jesus WHO IS the Savior of the World!

Moses (interceded) for Israel before God on Mt. Sinai and Jesus interceded for the entire World on the Cross. Moses led Israel out of (Egyptian bondage) and Jesus through His (perfect life) if accepted by the believer leads humanity out of the (bondage of Sin.)

Concerning David

Psa 89:27 Also (I will make him my firstborn), higher than the kings of the earth.

Concerning Israel through Ephraim

Jer 31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and (Ephraim is my firstborn.)

Concerning Jesus

Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, (the firstborn) of every creature. Firstborn here means the (first begotten and the first fruit through the resurrection). God begat Jesus the Son through the Holy Spirit. God (declared) Israel the nation as the (firstborn son) there's a huge difference but still a parallel.

Why do I bring this to your attention? ANSWER: To show you that (real Bible study) gives you a better understanding than just picking it up (once in a while) and carrying it to church with you. You cannot (really know God) at all by just reading His word in a superficial manner. You must desire it more than your necessary food if you really want to have genuine faith, otherwise your faith is just a mere (mental assent). Job said: Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; (I have esteemed the words of his [God's] mouth more than my necessary food. If you look with spiritual eyes and study closely you will find (many parallels) in many areas of the word of God.

The trouble with today's Christians is that they are Christian (in name only) and many of them who think they know enough, with that attitude can't know any more than they already know because they think they have (need of nothing). Friends I'm here to tell you that NO human being will know how to (conduct themselves) on the (streets of gold) if they make it to Paradise if they don't know (THE God) who gave them life and the probationary time of that life to seek out and find Him. Jeremiah the prophet said: Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Which means the MIND!

For Christians to think they can consume (wine) because the bible speaks in many places of people drinking both (new wine) fresh (grape juice) and old wine (fermented grape juice) doesn't mean that the Christian can drink WINE. As a matter of fact the scripture tells the Christian who follows Jesus Christ NOT to drink fermented wine. Pro 23:31 Look not thou upon (the wine) when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. If you pour a glass of fermented wine and then watch it closely, it appears to move around in the cup. This is speaking of fermented wine friends and the Christian is admonished to (Look not thou upon (the wine). Christians are NOT to consume a mind-altering drink because it (deadens) the mental faculties and overtime if continued, will so affect the brain that your discernment will lack.

Many Christian's I have spoken to about this issue some point to this verse as a (proof text) that God condones (strong drink). Their understanding is superficial concerning this issue. Deu 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household. God will never tell you to (sin), this verse is NOT speaking about (strong drink) nor the purchasing of animals i.e. oxen, sheep or what-so-ever one's soul desires. It's speaking of the (market place) that was found in Jerusalem that offered all of these items, but God is NOT telling them to consume (strong drink.) The previous verses give you the correct (context). It's about obedience to God concerning their (first fruits) of the harvest He has blessed them with. There are (two) specific issues in these verses.

• Is that of the requirement by God of consuming their offering in His presence in Jerusalem.
• That at Jerusalem they will be tempted through their (lust) after things of which He doesn't approve.

The primary (context) of the verses is that of being obedient before Him when they attend their visit to Jerusalem. That can't be done with a (fuzzy head) from consuming (strong drink.) The (key words) and the identifying words are the words (lusteth after). LUSTING after anything is (coveting) and that's the (tenth commandment). God will never tell anyone to commit any sin, but many use the specific verse of Deu 14:26 to justify their craving for alcoholic fermented drinking of wine and that's NOT the context of the issue under discussion.

Today's Christians attend many events and as the world does so to do they. Some are found in New Year's eve parties, or Christmas parties where champaign and wine flows like water, and in what they call the (spirit) of the moment they without thought (go along to get along) and it will cost them eternal life if they don't wise up about what God requires of them as a servant.

Your study of the Bible will lead you into ALL truth, not just (pretty little Bible stories) to draw in your attention even though some of them are necessary others are just a repetitive rehash by your preacher of what you already know. Get into the (word of God) friend and you will discover that your preacher doesn't necessarily know what he's speaking about. They are trained in and through a (seminary mandated) course called (spiritual formation), it's part of their curriculum in order to obtain their diplomas think about that title for a minute! Spiritual Formation, forming your spirit, that is the work of the Holy Spirit, NOT any preacher/minister.

Here is a man fresh from seminary trained in the art of (SPIRITUAL FORMATION) which is (Neural Linguistic Programming) with the ability to (FORM your SPIRIT) without your knowledge that it's being shaped a specific way in a specific belief the way he desires for you to think. Neural Linguistic Programming is the art of using (specific words) in a (specific way) in order to have you think a (specific way.) It's used by ALL the major popular preachers running the Christian circuit today, both on television and radio and especially on television. That's why the (Mega-Church) exists today!

The Christian religion since the time of Jesus has never been a (popular religion) so anytime you find a mega-church who desires you to become a member (Don't just walk RUN the other direction.) The popular church (as a church) will NOT be redeemed folks. If you find yourself in a (popular church) where everyone appears to be (devout Christians) when all of them are together (use your ears) and NOT your mouth. Identify all those who are (gossiping) or speaking anything from their mouths that would be considered (un-sacred) by God in the venue you find yourself and steer clear of them. You will know them by their fruits!

I believe everyone can benefit from (worshiping and studying together) but if that worship is NOT in accordance with the word of God, or if those who attend come for any other reason other than to worship and glorify God alone, then that church or the setting is a (social church or a group of people) who are NOT sincere and God's presence is NOT found among them even though they think He is.

Use what God has given you which is His word. It's a road map to finding Him if you really want to know Him. Many (claim they want to know Him) as much as they can, and yet deny Him by their very forms of worship.
