EZEKIEL 37

Has absolutely NOTHING to do with the restoration of literal Israel as is being believed and taught in today's churches. Anyone with any understanding of scripture knows that in order for the literal nation of Israel to "Eze 37:23" "I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God."

QUESTION: When will this salvation from sin and cleansing take place when Israel becomes God's people and He will actually be their God?

ANSWER: When the New Jerusalem in upon the Earth and NOT until that time.

The Valley of Dry Bones

Eze 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, (Which represents the resurrected dead "saints" NOT literal ISRAEL)

Eze 37:2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. (They were very "dry" because they represent all the "dead saints" from Adam until the resurrection occurs, many thousands of years,)

Eze 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. (In other words can the dead live again?)

Eze 37:4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy (preach) upon (or too) these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. (Pay attention to God's call from the grave, in other words, when God calls them from the grave at the resurrection)

Eze 37:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; (AT THE RESURRECTION OF THE JUST God does this NOT literal ISRAEL) Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: (At The FIRST RESURRECTION)

Eze 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; (In the Resurrection) and ye shall know that I am the LORD. (Without any doubt at this time)

Eze 37:7 So I prophesied (PREACHED in my vision) as I was commanded: (As I walked among humanities dry bones) and as I prophesied, (Preached in my Vision) there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. The shaking here eludes to Revelation 16:18 and there was a great earthquake, it is this earthquake that opens the graves of the dead saints.

QUESTION: What "noise" was Ezekiel speaking of here? ANSWER: It's the sounding of the Last Trump at the resurrection of the saints when the "flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them" until God breathes the breath of life back to them as they rise from their graves indeed the dead dry bones will again live at that time.)

Eze 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. God is showing Ezekiel in vision what He is going to do in the resurrection of the saints in which He calls "Israel my people."

Eze 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy (Preach) unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. (AGAIN the RESURRECTION when the dead lives again)

Eze 37:10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

(If this concerned literal Israel it would not have been called an ARMY as Israel literal was NOT considered an entire army, only those who were separated from them as members of the armies of Israel did NOT consist of ALL Israel.)

Eze 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: (SPIRITUAL ISRAEL not literal Israel) behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. (This verse is unique in Ezekiel 37 in that we have already seen some of the same "dry bones" come to life. Therefore they are NO LONGER dry. So why the phrase "Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts" this phrase speaks of the "second resurrection" those who will be dead and yet resurrected at the "full end" who see themselves "cut off" for their parts in unbelief. Therefore Ezekiel 37 speaks of both the resurrection of the saints and the damned. It is NOT speaking of any literal Israeli restoration as a literal nation, but that of the redeemed and the lost in both resurrections.

Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, (If this were meant to be literal Israel alone, then according to the interpretation of "O my people" would signify that only literal Israel is considered the people of God when the scripture teach no such thing.) I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. (The RESSURECTION at no time in history was any of literal Israel resurrected from their graves and brought into the land, again this is a metaphor for the resurrection NOT restoration.) Speaking of God's people redeemed Rev 5:9,10 And they (the Redeemed) sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. NOT just literal Israel!

Eze 37:13 And ye (The Redeemed Saints of God) shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, (At the Ressurection is when the"graves" of the saints "o my people " are opened) O my people, and brought you up out of your graves. (Clearly then Ezekiel 37 has to do with the resurrection of the saints in which God calls "O my People" He is NOT addressing literal Israel through the prophet, but is speaking of all the saints resurrected from their graves of every "kindred, tongue, people, and nation.)

Eze 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: (IN the NEW JERUSALEM) then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

It is ONLY when the resurrection takes place that what was once literal Israel and what is today modern Israel along with every "kindred, tongue, people, and nation. Will be considered God's people in whom He will place within them His spirit and eternity begin's and God Himself will be their i.e. the redeemed from among mankind and will be their God from that time throughout all eternity.

To interpret Ezekiel 37 in any other way is to grossly distort the text for the benefit of literal Israel. Literal Israel will be destroyed when Jesus returns just like any other "city" of the world. God showed this to Jeremiah the prophet. Jer 4:26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. This includes Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem as well.

I Will Be Their God, They Shall Be My People

It is ONLY at the beginning of eternity that God is recognized as GOD and the people become His own for all eternity.

Eze 37:15 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

Eze 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, (The SOUTHERN Kingdom) and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, (The NORTHERN Kingdom) the stick of Ephraim,  and for all the house of Israel his companions.

TAKE NOTE: It's for all the redeemed as specified by the phrase " all the house of Israel his companions" those companions that are NOT of literal Israel as being part of Israel, but they are and will be a part of the redeemed from all nations, kindred, tongues, and people of the Earth here called "companions" of literal Israel.

Eze 37:17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Eze 37:18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

Eze 37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, (The NORTHERN Kingdom) and the tribes of Israel his fellows, (AGAIN, the phrase "his fellows" implies others outside of literal Israel) and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, (The SOUTHERN Kingdom) and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

QUESTION: When will all the redeemed be ONE in the hand of God?

ANSWER: (When eternity begins at the resurrection!)

Eze 37:20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

Eze 37:21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, (The JUST from the UNJUST) whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, [From all four quarters of the Earth "north, east, south, and west) and bring them into their own land: (INTO the New Jerusalem)

Eze 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

QUESTION: Did literal Israel as we know it today "become one nation" in 1947 or 1967 or are they still to this day a "divided nation" i.e. the PLO, the West Bank and Gaza etc. Also does Israel today have "one king" over them?

ANSWER: Can only be NO! Ezekiel 37 is NOT speaking of literal Israel folks!

Eze 37:23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions:

QUESTION: Does Israel today after 1947-67 still have "their idols, and detestable things? Is Literal Israel today without "transgressions?"

ANSWER: To the first question is absolutely YES! ANSWER to the second question absolutely NO! So this prophecy is NOT speaking of literal Israel) but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: (Has literal Israel "been cleansed?" so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. (This can only take place upon Earth when God is (actually) dwelling upon Earth after the "full end" takes place and Satan and the wicked are destroyed.)

Eze 37:24 And David (David here is used as a metaphor for Jesus Christ) my servant shall be king over them; (There's ONLY one KING of heaven that is Jesus Christ ALONE) and they all shall have one shepherd: (JESUS is the ONLY SHEPHERD of mankind He earned that right at the Cross) they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. (This too will NOT take place upon the sinful world, but ONLY after it been (recreated) after the full end.)

Eze 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land [The New Jerusalem] that I have given unto Jacob my servant, (The phrase "that I have given unto Jacob my servant, can also be rendered "that I have given unto Israel my servant which encompasses all the redeemed of the Earth" and if you understand this verse "Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:" you will know that God calls the redeemed of the Earth ALL ISRAEL, but NOT all ISRAEL is seen as the Hebrew people alone.) wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David (Jesus Christ) shall be their prince forever. (The word "forever" used twice to drive home the point, that this vision of Ezekiel has to do with the resurrection and eternity. It has absolutely no application to literal Israel as a nation, other than being a promise of salvation to those who accept Jesus Christ.)

Eze 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore. (Has God done this for literal Israel today? God's sanctuary is in heaven. It was shown to Moses so Moses could copy the pattern in the Tabernacle observances and construction. In order for God's sanctuary to be evermore in the midst of His people, means that Ezekiel 37 is speaking of the resurrection of the just and Heaven it is NOT speaking of literal Israel folks.

Eze 37:27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (This is the New Jerusalem in the same land of Israel given to Jacob)

Eze 37:28 And the heathen [The WICKED at the time of the full end] shall know that I the LORD do sanctify (Make a difference or SANCTIFY "set apart" the just from the unjust) Israel,(ALL of His people! Israel here is a metaphor used to signify the redeemed of the Earth) when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forevermore.

The last statement "when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore" couldn't possibly be more clear, that Ezekiel 37 is NOT speaking of literal Israel, but that of redeemed Israel ALL of God's people who will be with Him "forevermore!"

Friend's your preachers and ministers as teaching you the lies of their "seminary" understanding of what they think Ezekiel's vision means. Common sense in the wording of the chapter alone should tell you that those like "John Hagee" and his "CUFI" (Citizens United For Israel) movement, and that of "Laurie Cardoza Moore" and her bogus "PJTN") (Proclaiming Justice to the Nations) neither one of them has a clue about the truth of Ezekiel 37 or 38.

TAKE NOTE: Of the following wording found in Ezekiel 37

1. very dry (not freshly killed) Eze 37:2

2. can these bones live? Eze 37:3 (can the dead live again?) is the question. When do the dead of the Earth live again? In the Ressurection!

3.  Prophesy upon these bones (Preach to these dead) Eze 37:4 QUESTION: Does any preacher "preach" to the dead? Yes, ALL of them do so! WHY? Because all humanity is "dead" in "trespasses" and sin. Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.

4. Eze 37:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live (When does this "living again from the dead" take place at the hand of God? AT the Ressurection!

5. Eze 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

6. there was a noise, (What noise?) Exo 32:17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. This is why the resurrected dead is referred to in Eze 37:10 as "an exceeding great army"

7. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. Eze 37:9 (This is the Resurrection of the dead NOT Israel being established as the people of God coming into their nation in 1947-67.)

8. Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. (This is the sound of the wicked after the 1000 years whereas the first Resurrection of Eze 37:5 is the Resurrection of the SAINTS, those "dry bones" that died in the faith.

9. Eze 37:12 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. (This is clearly speaking of the Resurrections. When God opens the graves.) The New Jerusalem will be in the Land of Israel!

10. Eze 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, (The "dry bones" of Ezekiel's vision were NOT in their graves) O my people, and brought you up out of your graves. (How could anyone possibly read into Eze 37 the literal nation of Israel? Only from ignorance!

11. Eze 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, [For ALL eternity which is true life with God) and I shall place you in your own land: (In the New Jerusalem) then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

12. I Will Be Their God, They Shall Be My People (This will ONLY be within the New Jerusalem folks, NOT in literal Israel as it is today.)

13. Eze 37:16-23 is speaking of the gathering together of God's people in the New Jerusalem when they become His people and He becomes their God for eternity.

14. Eze 37:24-28 Is the finally or the consummation of the saints of God with Jesus their KING in the New Jerusalem forevermore.
