Conditions to God's Love
God's Love For YOU
"NOT" TOTALLY UNCONDITIONAL!

Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, [the Condition] he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me
[and keepth my commandments] shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest
myself to him. Friend, there is a
condition to meet before the love is granted! Jesus had to meet those conditions in human flesh in order that God could then extend His love towards the (obedient) who obeys Him.
The whole of
human salvation is upon the conditions
met, the primary condition is that one sees themselves as "dead" in sin, comes to Jesus Christ and accepts His "atonement" and live for God. Jesus doesn't come to you! You go to Him and then after you repent and are converted and experienced the "New Birth" He comes through the Holy Spirit's indwelling to live His life in and through you. Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
The little word (if) is found in scripture 1,595 times and indicates in many of those uses (a CONDITION) thus God's love for His creation is NOT (Unconditional) without CONDITION as you have been taught. It's only (UNCONDITIONAL) if YOU obey Him, otherwise, it's NOT (God accepting you unconditionally no matter how you live.)
ONLY the true servants of GOD are (unconditionally loved) by God. Anyone who has read and studied the scripture should know this, yet today's phony preachers are leading the people to believe that no matter how they live, God will accept them if they (confess and repent) when they continue to do the same things over and over again, that's willful (sin) and God does NOT and will NOT accept anyone who does the (roller-coaster) religion.
The conditions that God has set down must be met and proved in your life before God accepts your service. This is called by the apostle Paul God in you the hope of glory. Col 1:27(b) which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He [GOD] told the first murderer Cain: Gen 4:7 If [The Condition] thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if [The Condition] thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. It's the (doing well) obedience to God, that is the CONDITION that God then accepts your service towards Him. This is why Cain's offering was rejected he had not met the conditions for true worship. Cain failed to bring the "blood sacrifice" required. Exo 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt (do that which is right in his sight), [The Condition] and wilt (give ear to his commandments), [The Condition] and keep (all his statutes), I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. Exo 23:22 But if [The Condition] thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and (do all that I speak); then [When the Condition is Met] I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
From the beginning of scripture all throughout ALL (66) books of the bible it is very clear, that God (requires and demands) obedience to (ALL that He has spoken for humanity) in order that He then can extend His love toward you in an (unconditional) way. Otherwise, you are in training as to (how to obey Him), but that present training will NOT keep you from (being destroyed for disobedience). When Israel i.e. the descendants of Jacob "sinned" at the base of Sinai by making themselves "another god" of a golden calf. God told Moses: Exo 32:9,10 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore (let me alone), that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that (I may consume them): and I will make of thee a great nation.
QUESTION: Did God love Israel at this time? YES! He
called Israel His (firstborn) here: Exo
4:22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: Do you think God
considered this when He was ready to "consume them" from off the face of the Earth? Did God's love
for Israel just disappear at the time?
NO! Was His love for them (unconditional) and He would accept them no matter what? NO! It was their rebellion against God that God was going to destroy them and because it was they themselves who rebelled, God was
given little choice as to their demise.
It wasn't that God didn't love them, it was that "SIN" cannot be in the
presence of God, and had separated them from Him, sin must be destroyed. Had it NOT been for the prayer of Moses Israel would have ceased to exist
as a nation before they ever
reached the promised land.
Just because you're accepted by God as was Israel who came out of Egypt, doesn't mean that God will or does accept your disobedience. Your disobedience as the verses above clearly teach (excludes you) from God's love, and if the sin in your life is sufficient to call for your destruction, God's wrath can wax hot against you and consume you from off the Earth. As the family of Noah (only escaped the deluge of the flood) simply because of (God's love for Noah) because Noah was obedient to God and was found with (grace) of God was his family saved. The scripture doesn't say that Noah and his family found (grace extended grace from God), but that (Noah found grace) in the eyes of the Lord. God spared his family simply because of Noah's obedience alone. Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
The same
thing occurred at Sinai with Moses, it was only because of the (one man) Moses, that God relented (from their destruction) for their disobedience. Because of the
pleading of Moses ALONE in verses 11-13 did
God repent from their destruction. Exo 32:14 And the LORD repented (of the evil) which he thought to
do unto his people. WHY was it
called "evil?" Because taking life is NOT in the nature of God, He is the life-giver, and for Him to wipe out Israel for their rebellion
would have called for God's hand to eternally
destroy them forever, the second
death the penalty for sin.
Since DEATH the "second
death" i.e. "spiritual death" came in because of the fall it's
the ultimate result and condition for wickedness it's evil in the respect that (the death) it is caused by Satan. God does NO EVIL!
Yes God Himself (repents and relents) Gen 6:7(b) for it repenteth me that I have made them. When necessary "from allowing evil", and He has called YOU and me to repent likewise. He repented because He has complete control over any and ALL evil, but God calls us to repent (from evil.) Why did God speak this phrase (of evil)? Does God in any way cause (evil)? ABSOLUTELY NOT! through His permissive will He allows it for the fulfilling of His Ultimate. What did He then mean by using the phrase (the LORD repented (of the evil) which he thought to do unto his people)? The phrase (I may consume them) tells us! In order for God to (consume) them had that event taken place, then God would have done something to Israel that would have been the (results of their evil) i.e. (the death of Israel), and death either physical or spiritual is (a result of the fall) in Eden. Death either physical or spiritual didn't exist in God's creation until after the fall. For God to (consume) Israel in death would have been the (evil) He spoke of as it's NOT God's nature to cause the (cessation of life), but to (GIVE LIFE) to His creation.
God would have (killed eternally) all Israel that very day had not Moses as a type of Jesus Christ the anti-type interceded for the people before God. This is what is meant by the phrase (the LORD repented (of the evil) which he thought to do unto his people). God does (NO EVIL PERIOD), but His actions that are called for to (destroy anything) be it a tree, a blade of grass, or the inhabitants of the Earth be it man or beast is the result of (evil) not evil itself. When mankind speaks of God's love they see it through the (human eyes) not with their spiritual eyes. When God destroys the wicked and death itself it is the (result) of human wickedness ALONE brought about because mankind (chose another god) beside HIM, they chose self, and that self must be destroyed in the Lake of Fire in the end. God cannot and will not allow the (self-willed) to live with Him in eternity.
Where (self) IS, Iniquity resides within, and God will NOT allow (iniquity) in heaven. How then is the problem of (Iniquity) in this life solved in order to live with God in eternity? All of SELF (must die) in the here and now, which means you MUST not listen to your pastor/preacher who teaches you that (no matter what you do) if you just confess and repent (every time) you commit a specific sin that if continued over and over again and again and each time you know that you're (sinning against God) and you still continue to do so because you've been taught that (God's love for you is unconditional) and therefore (He will ALWAYS) forgive you no matter what, then you friend (have been taught a LIE!) Then why this verse? Deu 4:31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Yet, this verse appears (contradictive) to this verse IF IT'S seen through human eyes alone and NOT seen in the spiritual. Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
Deu 4:31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor (forget the covenant of thy fathers) which he sware unto them. Is to be SEEN as God keeping His COVENANT, NOT that He is saying that He will ALWAYS accept disobedience in any unconditional manner. The verse is about His fidelity, His Righteousness, His COVENANT, it's NOT about UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE of sin practicing humanity. It's ABOUT His mercy in keeping His WORD and His COVENANT!
The words (keep the commandments) is found 5 times in the New Testament.
Mat_19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there
is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [A CONDITION]
1Jn_5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. [A CONDITION]
1Jn_5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: [A CONDITION] and his commandments are not grievous.
Rev_12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep [A CONDITION] the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev_14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep [A CONDITION] the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The words (keep my commandments) are found in the
Old Testament (83) times in only
20 verses alone. The words (keep the commandments) from Genesis to
Revelation is found 201 times.
The words (do His commandments) is found 4 times from Genesis to Revelation. All together ALL three phrases
are found from Genesis to Revelation some 293 times and the last admonition is found in Revelation 22:14
which carries a (blessing) for being obedient [A CONDITION] to God's Law of the Ten Commandments. Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that
do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may
enter in through the gates into the city.
CAN A SINFUL HUMAN BEING KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD? THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY AND THAT IS IN CHRIST ALONE WHO DID KEEP THEM ON OUR BEHALF. HOWEVER, AFTER ONE COMES TO CHRIST THE COMMANDMENTS ARE THE GUIDES FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING.
This all reverts back to and relates to what God told Cain in Genesis 4. Gen 4:7(a) If thou doest well, [The Condition] shalt thou not be accepted? Cain had broken commandments number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 He had broken (ALL of God's LAW) in his ONE act of bringing the first fruits of his harvest as the (offering) to the worship service AND THROUGH THE MURDER OF HIS BROTHER ABEL. Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. You say how did Cain break all of the commandments simply by bringing an (offering) of his (fruit of the ground) i.e. vegetables? I'll tell you why!
- Because of Cain NOT listening to his dad Adam concerning the REQUIRED (blood sacrifice) that God explained to both his parents when God drew (first blood) by killing the animals that provided the (coats of skin) for their covering. Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, [Something had to DIE] and clothed them. A living creature of God had to die spilling its life's blood that pointed to the Cross where Jesus' blood ["His life" that's what is meant by the phrase the Blood of Jesus] His righteous life provided the (spiritual covering) for fallen man. But, Cain didn't believe and therefore he broke the 1st commandment by choosing the (god of self) in believing that God would accept his vegetable offering.
- Cain (bowed down) to himself instead of God in his act of disobedience thus he broke the 2nd commandment.
- Cain's act of bringing his Earthly offering instead of the required (blood sacrifice) showed that Cain's belief in God's future provision for him was a VAIN worship of God thus he broke the 3rd commandment.
- The fourth concerns the Seventh Day i.e. the Sabbath of the Lord created and made at creation week. There's NO SUCH thing as a Jewish Sabbath. It belongs to God and always does belong to God. Cain even though he brought his offering when the family worshipped on the Sabbath Seventh Day, was a (useless) worship on his personal behalf, as he didn't believe God, so his very act of worship was refused by God because Cain bore a (servile burden) by bearing the basket or whatever he had his vegetables in, to the worship service and God said in the fourth commandment: Exo 20:8-11 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it (thou shalt not do any work), thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Cain had to and did perform (WORK) on God's Holy Day and therefore Cain broke the 4th commandment.
- Cain by bringing an unacceptable (offering) after Adam had clearly explained to both Cain and Abel the required (blood sacrifice) disregarded it in bringing his own idea of an offering. Cain, therefore, dishonored his dad Adam and his mother Eve in bringing an unacceptable offering to the family worship service before God. Thus Cain broke the 5th commandment, he did NOT honor his father or his mother in his act.
- The sixth commandment concerns (murder) which Cain broke shortly after the worship service, so the 6th commandment was broken.
- Cain's
act of bringing an unacceptable offering before God identified him as a (spiritual
adulterer) a (spiritual
fornicator) before God. Thus Cain broke the 7th commandment as well within the spiritual realm since he had not yet been married in the physical, his (adultery) against God was done within his spirit, through his
disobedience towards God, his father, mother and even his own brother
Abel. Thus Cain broke the Seventh Commandment.
- Cain (stole from God) in that he chose (self) above God by bringing his (fruit offering) he
stole the (Glory) from God in
that he made himself the arbiter
of the required sacrifice and substituted it with his own idea. Cain stole by that act the (GLORY) that
only God deserves. Thus Cain broke the eight Commandment.
- Cain
later on (lied) to God when
he said: Gen 4:9(b) And the
LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not. He lied so he broke the 9th commandment by bearing
a false witness against his brother Abel, and lying to God Himself
"face to face."
- Cain broke the 10th commandment in that
(he coveted) the acceptance of his brother Abel's offering to God, and jealousy rose in his heart and he committed (murder) against his brother out
of a fit of fury. He coveted the acceptance of God toward his brother
Abel.
Folk's the (FIRST THREE) Commandments of God is what governs the government of Heaven.
They have existed from eternity past
specifically the FIRST THREE.
The FOURTH through the tenth came into
force at Creation week since humanity had been created. The FOURTH because God hallowed it i.e. (made it
Holy) it will be HOLY to GOD for all eternity future and will continue for redeemed humanity.
Numbers 5-10 will fade away after Jesus comes the
second time as they control currently
(sinful humanities) conduct in this life. After Jesus comes again and ALL the dead righteous and the living saints
will be CHANGED at that time, they will no longer be needed in heaven. This
is what Jesus meant when He said: Mat
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled.
Now my version: Mat 5:18 For verily I [Jesus] say unto you, Until
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the
law, Until all be fulfilled. Till was the archaic word used and today we say "until."
There's NO SUCH thing as them [the Commandments] being introduced to humanity at Sinai, which is a modern-day church lie as well. On top of this lie, they also teach you that they are no longer necessary for (the Christian) to strive to keep them and some ministers like Andy Stanley tell their congregations that Christians are no longer required to keep the Law of God because Jesus has done away with them. This is a (partial truth) and the omission of the (real truth) then makes their ministry a SIN before God and the people they claim to lead as shepherds over the flock of God. When God uses the word (do) in Revelation 22:14, He means what He says. We are to (do them) or we have NO right to enter through the gates into the city of God. Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. God would NOT say this if it were NOT possible! But fallen humanity in and of themselves "unaided" by the Holy Spirit CANNOT "do them" completely, so where does this leave us? It leaves us with Jesus Christ who DID DO them all perfectly for us, but that doesn't REMOVE from us the obligation to strive to walk in the Commandments of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. Indeed the laws of man are based on the commandments, and many church members "while they claim they are no longer under the law but under grace, "keeps the law" just let them try to break the eighth commandment and commit "Grand Theft Auto" and see just how IN EFFECT the laws of God actually are today.
Like Cain who didn't believe his father Adam and
disobeyed. Whom do you believe? Do you believe your pastor/minister as they teach you, OR do you believe God as you claim to follow Him? If your (belief) is
not shown through and by your obedience,
just like Cain's failure to obey, then God will say to you the same thing He
told Cain. Gen 4:7(b) And if [The Condition]
thou doest
not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his
desire, and thou shalt rule over him. You
are to (rule over) personal SIN by personal obedience to God in ALL that He has
spoken. Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. This includes His commandments!
God's Love for us is based entirely on the actions of Jesus, and Jesus' love for us is based entirely on obedience to God. God has always loved every aspect of His creation and that especially of man, who was made in His own spiritual image.
QUESTION: If you were God, and you created another being and
expressed your love for that being, and that being spurned your love, and walked in rebellion against you, you would have two choices. Either make a way of redemption or destroy the being and start over. Now
suppose that you did make a way of
redemption to RECLAIM the person,
and the person still spurned that
redemption. WHAT more could you do? Then there's only ONE choice and that is DESTRUCTION.
QUESTION: Does the destruction of the person reveal that God didn't LOVE the created being? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT! It's because He loved you that He tried every possible way to redeem you. God loved "past tense" even those lost to Him when the Lake of Fire completes its work of destruction, and ONLY God will "suffer" in all eternity future the loss of those for whom He lost. Our pain will be over, but His will continue because of His love for His creation.
Yes, God does love us and that is why He has determined to see if we will love Him back enough to obey His "laws" in the here and now, in this life. If we choose to disregard them here, we won't be with Him there in Paradise. In this respect God's Love for you and me is CONDITIONAL!
